Terms of service

Terms of Service

Effective Date: 1/1/2026

Welcome to Good Dog People.

These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and your booking of services with Good Dog People. By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.

Our Services

Good Dog People provides small-group dog adventure services, including collection from your home, supervised group adventures, and return transport.

All services are subject to availability and suitability.

Dog Suitability

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of every dog in our care, all dogs must:

  • Be friendly and suitable for supervised group adventures.
  • Be up to date with vaccinations (or have an approved titre test where accepted).
  • Be in good general health.
  • Be free from contagious illness or parasites.
  • Wear a secure collar or harness with identification.

Good Dog People reserves the right to decline or discontinue services where a dog's behaviour, health or welfare may place themselves, other dogs or our team at risk.

Bookings

Bookings are subject to availability.

Regular weekly bookings are reserved for dogs attending a minimum of two adventures per week.

Adventure groups are carefully organised based on location, compatibility and operational requirements.

While we aim to provide consistent collection windows, exact pickup and return times cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellations

Please refer to our Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy for cancellation timeframes and refund eligibility.

Weather & Safety

The safety of every dog is our highest priority.

Good Dog People may alter, shorten, relocate or cancel adventures due to:

  • Extreme weather
  • Bushfire risk
  • Flooding
  • Unsafe park conditions
  • Other circumstances that may compromise safety

Where appropriate, affected bookings will be rescheduled or refunded.

Veterinary Care

If a dog becomes ill or is injured while participating in our services, Good Dog People will make every reasonable effort to contact the owner or emergency contact.

Where immediate veterinary treatment is required and the owner cannot be contacted, Good Dog People may seek appropriate veterinary care on the owner's behalf. Any veterinary expenses remain the responsibility of the owner.

We ask that you advise your nominated veterinary clinic that Good Dog People is authorised to seek emergency veterinary treatment for your dog if you cannot be contacted.

Liability

While every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure the safety of all dogs, participation in off-site group adventures carries inherent risks.

By booking our services, owners acknowledge these risks and agree that Good Dog People will not be liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, except where required by Australian law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
